Canon EOS Rebel XT 350D01 Aug 2006 00:53 GMT34
I love my new canon camera. It takes amazing pictures compared to the
powershot A50.
I have posted a couple hundred of pictures I have taken with my new

RAW developer for MRW31 Jul 2006 14:16 GMT5
Hi, everybody. Which is, in your opinion, the best RAW developer for
Minolta RAW files? I have Dimage Master, but it's so slow it's
unusable. Now, I'm using Bibble (ver. 4.4): good but not so clear, not
user friendly ....

nikon d200 vs d70 and photoshop vs nikon capture30 Jul 2006 22:21 GMT17
I currently use the Nikon D70 and have generally found when working in
RAW that printing from nikon capture produces better results than from
photoshop in the absense of exposure or color correction work.  I was
recently told by a photo retailer that this would not be an issue with
It works! GPS powered by D20030 Jul 2006 21:55 GMT29
It's still sort of kludgy, but I spliced a Garmin GPS18 LVC to a DB9,
plugged it into an MC-35, and powered it by splicing the 5v power line
from a sliced MC-23 into the power line of the GPS18. I plug the half
MC-23 into the 10-pin port of the MC-35 port, and it powers the ...
Technically OT: Photocompositing Technique?30 Jul 2006 18:01 GMT6
Often when I'm replacing blue-screen backgrounds with other (eg mountain)
scenery I used to have a problem where the 2 images just didn't look right -
there was too much of an abrupt transition between, say, the head of the
subject and the (new) background behind.

Filter?28 Jul 2006 03:07 GMT3
I recently acquired my first digital slr and will soon get a CP and
skylight filter. My question is, how is an 81a filter used and is it
