Canon telephoto zoom29 Apr 2006 18:54 GMT3
In addition to my 24mm and 50mm prime lenses I am going to buy my first
zoom. Right now I am thinking about EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM. However,
there's another lens - EF70-200mm f/4.0L USM - that cost roughly the
same money. It's "L" (whatever that means), but apart from the ...
Stuck Hood on Canon 400mm 5.6L29 Apr 2006 03:09 GMT2
Has anyon had this problem. The attached hood on my Canon EF 400mm 5.6L USM
lens will not "release" when twisted and is extremely difficult to move. Any
suggestions. One thought I had was to put it in the freezer to see if the
temperature would allow it to release. I'll probably ...
Sun damage?29 Apr 2006 01:38 GMT14

Auto Rokunar Zoom28 Apr 2006 18:26 GMT3
The lens came that I won on Ebay, with shipping I paid all of $10.00 for it.
Lens itself looks good, glass is clear and everything seems to work on it.
It can be used in either Auto or manual. That's as far as I can go now. The
lens adapter on it is a kind of exakta mount, but it ...
Need a photo lab for Nishika 3-D camera28 Apr 2006 03:14 GMT5
Can anyone recommend a good photo lab (preferably in the USA) that will properly develop images from a Nishika 35mm 3-D camera? I actually have a client who has asked for this type of image! TIA
CYCLISTS LOVE THE 20D !27 Apr 2006 01:57 GMT16
Well sports fans, the 2006 Tour de Georgia bike race came roaring
through town today.
Guess nobody told em this is Tennessee.  Anyway, it was only a block

Spotmatic battery replacement26 Apr 2006 18:31 GMT3
I landed an older Spotmatic (Honeywell/US import) and need to get a batery
for the meter. I'm assuming the original mercury types ar no longer
available, but what--if any--modern-day alkalines can I use in it's place?
thanks

Al,
Bowtie has forged a Shoot-In entry from me, & also from one of my
friends in another group, so I think it's a safe bet that he's
probably flooded you with other fake entries as well.
