| Kiev 60 vs. Mamiya/Pentax and questions regarding lenses for Kiev vs. Hassleblad/Rollei | 30 Sep 2006 23:31 GMT | 11 |
I know this isn't the right forum, but I also know many around here have shot with these at one point or another. The fact that the other "film" based boards are basically dead makes me feel this is the best place to make the post. I hope the board does not have a problem with

I just completed reading reviews of the Nikon D80 and Canon XTi in Cnet. The conclusion was that if you are building a system of scratch the D80 is a better choice. In many ways I do agree. However at first glance Nikon lenses

| Usuable Shots Straight From the Camera | 30 Sep 2006 14:47 GMT | 2 |
I take shots most days in connection with my work in Estate Agency/Real Estate. Sometimes I have time to make adjustments but usually not. The shots from the camera always seem to need a little brightening, a little more colour saturation and a touch of sharpening.

| RAW vs. jpeg | 30 Sep 2006 14:01 GMT | 9 |
I took some inside shots (room with florescent lighting) with my Canon Digital Rebel set to capture both RAW and jpeg images at the same time - same shot. Surprisingly (or, not so surprisingly) the jpeg images looked much better. Now I understand that RAW images have not been

Digicam Users and Post Processing When I upload CF photo images to my PC hard drive I never cease to be struck at their 'unfinished' quality straight from the camera ( I am using a Canon G6), compared to the post processed result, which

| How do you read the numbers on a lens? | 30 Sep 2006 03:05 GMT | 9 |
I have a Quantary 70-120 lens. It works easy enough but I was curious how to read the numbers on the lens. In other words, how do I interpret and apply them. There is one set of numbers on the lens side and on the mount side there is a dial that has another set. This ring is ...
