Could a red-dot sight be used  on a P&S camera model that doesn't have a
hot shoe adapter? How could one be rigged to work?

Hi. I went out and bought myself a new Fuji Finepix P&S to replace a
Kodak 290 that I have had for nearly seven years. I find that although
the Fuji has far more pixels, it is an S1000fd with 10megapixels,
against the Kodak's 3 megapixels, the Kodak gives clearer photos in dark
