I'm looking for software that can do this:
1 - create slideshows for DVD
2 - can create widescreen output (13:9) as well as 4:3.
3 - can add photo's as well as video

I added an ugly photo to my site, with much thought.  It will be
interesting to see what feedback I get. Its a gypsy moths tent. There
is also a catapiller there, gypsy moth. That I macroed and its

I read recently that Stephen Spielberg said he only makes movies on film,
that is his medium, along with quite a few other directors and
cinematographers. I have seen some HD movies and although they are good
quality, I think you would have an impossible task creating the look of a

I just bought a Dynex DX-MW010 tripod.  It has a screw to hold the camera, which requires a
screwdriver.  It isn't a knob.  This means I have to have a screwdriver handy to remove the
camera (such as for changing the battery or card).  Is this typical?  It seems like bad
design.  ...

I have found many 100 year old negatives of my home town and would like to
develope the photos. Iam told they are "photographer negatives" and they are
very large ( about 8x10 ). Is there a scanner I could purchase to enable me
to print out the photos?

Does anyone use a light meter with their DSLR?
I can't find my old Gossen from my 35mm days, so I generally switch to
Automatic on my Nikon D40, look at the setting, and then go Manual and
set a combination from that reading.
