I have an old Russian rangefinder to play with (a Zorki 4K) and have some Ilford FP4 Plus 125 film to use. One thing I don't have is a light meter, so if anyone can offer tips/advice/links on getting close to decent exposure without a lightmeter I'd be glad to hear (read!) it.

I am trying to buy a lens for my old Canon A1 and not sure if I can just buy any Canon FD lens. Could someone confirm, will any Canon FD lens fit my Canon A1? I was about to buy a Canon 50mm f1.4 FD lens from ebay, but the seller seems to think it could be a different fitting.

A while back a fellow announced that he was mailing 99 disposable cameras out around the world. Each recipient was to take a few frames and send the camera on until it was exhausted, then send it back. Mine arrived today from Italy! I wish I could see what was already on it.

I've just had a client cancel a commission to take images of a building during its construction. I have written instructions from the client to take photos for them and had already spent an hour or so at the site taking some preliminary shots.
