Vivitar Lenses For Nikon Cameras23 May 2008 20:50 GMT11
For years I used Minolta cameras (X700).  I used Vivitar Series 1 lenses on
my Minoltas (28-80 & 80-200).
Recently I moved to Digital SLR and, since Konica-Minolta is no longer in
the camera business,  purchased a new Nikon D40.
scanning negatives on commercial copier23 May 2008 17:30 GMT9
I have access to commercial colour copier/scanner at work - but I notice
negative scanners have special clips that hold about 6 negatives at a time
is there anything to stop me just putting a strip of colour negatives
directly onto the glass & setting it to transparency?
Creating 3D web images from Digital Photos23 May 2008 08:25 GMT1
I have a collection of figures I want to take digital images of and
then post on a website.
I want the user to be able to rotate around the images (3D) as well as
be able to zoom in and out.  A huge bonus would be to add labels.

His reply when someone asked what a white balance lens cap is.
"I have no idea what White Balance Lens Cap is. So I would say if you don't
know what it's then I would suggest to spend more time to improve what you
know and want to know more."
Fuji S5200 With ND Filter + Polarizing Filter Together21 May 2008 04:54 GMT5
I have been trying to photograph a sunrise with my Fuji S5200 (so,so
results.)  I would like to buy a graduated ND filter and a polarizing
filter and try this with the lenses stacked, with the darker portion
of the ND at the top.  Would this improve my chances?

unlikely to have another, so I've made a quirky virtual gallery of it.
The images are from the gallery. It's rough around the edges but mostly
it's there.

I am writing this message for my sister, who has volunteered to
photograph our niece's wedding.  She is a marvelous amateur
