| Use iPhoto for image touch-up? | 13 Apr 2008 03:26 GMT | 1 |
For years I've used iPhoto for my image catalog, but used CS2 and/or Elements for image enhancements. Recently upgraded to the new iPhoto08 (7.1.3), and have spent a couple weeks playing with it for cropping, sharpness, saturation, hue, contrast, etc .

| Reflector for infrared photography? | 12 Apr 2008 19:47 GMT | 6 |
We have a digital camera that takes IR photos of animals at night when they come by and trigger a sensor. The camera is IR sensitive and we have a separate IR light that lights up the scene. We'd like to improve the lighting by bouncing the IR light off a reflector, instead

| Exposure confusion... | 11 Apr 2008 23:29 GMT | 11 |
I have a Canon S3 which does a great job setting exposure (outdoors). So that I could take better pictures of objects, I recently purchased both a light box and a six foot wide white backdrop. I have two 85 watt photo light sources. I tripod mount my camera.

| File size question | 11 Apr 2008 08:42 GMT | 8 |
I take 640 x 480 pictures for real estate evaluations. We use this size because they go through e mails quicker. When I download them to my computer, and then put the mouse arrow on them, they always say 640 x 480, but the kb size varies. Why is that?

If I wanted to take journalistic photos of an event in the UK, what would I need to consider from a legal point of view? Okay, some background on the event... Plans are afoot to dig a whopping great quarry in the heart of the village

| Fujifilm FinePix S100 Question by Jeffrey Dach | 08 Apr 2008 00:30 GMT | 2 |
The Fujifilm FinePix S100FS digital camera is appealing because of a number of things. One, it has tremendous low light capability with ASA up to 10,000. Number two, it can emulate different Fuji films. I used to love the prints made from Fuji Velvia slide film of sunsets

| Digi-film camera | 07 Apr 2008 19:47 GMT | 17 |
My elderly mother always loved film for taking picture of the grandkids and stuff and never could comprehend digital. Lord knows I tried to convince her to go digital so she could share the pictures online, but she was content mailing us all prints.
