How to take photos of temporal anomalies???22 Feb 2008 21:36 GMT17

caused by quantum singularities or micro-wormholes. Sometimes,
extraterrestrials do use temporal anomalies to power their ships,
to be faster than light.
Canon G920 Feb 2008 17:06 GMT3
I am looking to upgrade from my Fujifilm Finepix S5600.
I have read a few user reviews on the canon G9 and it looks like a nice
camera. I need something smaller, more compact that can be a little more
discreet than the FF.

used digital slr bodies19 Feb 2008 18:50 GMT18
I am shopping around for a digital SLR. I may wait till fall and see what
the new models are, but I am considering picking up a used body to get me
started ... eventually I want a camera in the Canon 5D category, but may
consider something less to get started.

Any P/S cameras with date stamp?18 Feb 2008 15:54 GMT6

stamp on my photos.
My Kodak bit the dust. I am looking for a P/S 7 MP with IS which will allow
me to put a date stamp on my photos.

Teleconverter/  Macro Lens17 Feb 2008 01:50 GMT56
I have a Nikon D-80, and the 18-200 Nikon VR lens, which is a great combo.
I wonder if anyone has any thoughts about telecoverters.  Would adding a
teleconverter to this lens make it a super-douper lens, or is a complete
waste of money?  Also, what would be a good macro lens for ...

How does an 18-200 zoom (or built in 18x zoom) compare with say an     80-200 2.8 lens?16 Feb 2008 16:13 GMT4
My father is interested in taking up photography after about 40 years,
and is keen on something like athe Fuji S8000FD camera with 18 times
optical zoom, because it will give him flexibility without having to
carry lots of lenses.   I have always had Nikon 2.8 lenses like the
Total lunar eclipse - Febr 20, 2008 - across North America16 Feb 2008 04:27 GMT6
A total lunar eclipse is coming in just over a week. Anyone thinking
about taking some photos? I hope the weather is clear in the midwest.
Unfortunately, we are now gripped by a harsh cold and windy winter
with temperature around -40F (or -40C). Perhaps this event will show

I took some photos of ice carvings on Saturday:

These were under some sort of canopy - no way to alter lighting conditions.
Any suggestion to get better results are welcome.
