I am looking to upgrade from my Fujifilm Finepix S5600. I have read a few user reviews on the canon G9 and it looks like a nice camera. I need something smaller, more compact that can be a little more discreet than the FF.

I am shopping around for a digital SLR. I may wait till fall and see what the new models are, but I am considering picking up a used body to get me started ... eventually I want a camera in the Canon 5D category, but may consider something less to get started.

I love my 4 year old Kodak cx6330 because I can automatically put a date stamp on my photos. My Kodak bit the dust. I am looking for a P/S 7 MP with IS which will allow me to put a date stamp on my photos.

I have a Nikon D-80, and the 18-200 Nikon VR lens, which is a great combo. I wonder if anyone has any thoughts about telecoverters. Would adding a teleconverter to this lens make it a super-douper lens, or is a complete waste of money? Also, what would be a good macro lens for ...

I took some photos of ice carvings on Saturday: http://picasaweb.google.fr/cosmar38/IceCarvings These were under some sort of canopy - no way to alter lighting conditions. Any suggestion to get better results are welcome.
