Trying for the first time with my new D40 to pre-set the White
Balance, sumpin's goin' wrong.
Sometimes I can, and sometimes I can't.  With the camera set to "A" or
"M", filling the whole screen with either a gray card or white card,

After changing the batteries in my Minolta Dimage X20, I find the
camera doesn't seem to boot up. The screen remains black. Occasionally
the screen lights up for just a split secont. The little red light at
the edge flickers for a few seconds then stays out.

I just acquired a Nikon PB-6 bellows.  It came with a Japanese language user
manual, but no English.
I've checked the Nikon web site, checked Nikonians, googled etc.
Is there somewhere that I can get an English user manual for the PB-6?

I have recieved some phot's via e mail taken from a digital camera.
They are .jpg attachment to the e mail
I can open them and view them in Adobe photo shop starter software
but I cannot save then for editing

Has anyone here use either payloadz or e-junkie to deliver digital
files?

My Better Half finally wants to replace her 35mm point-and-shoot

lingerie.  Does anyone know of any sites, magazines, etc... that buy
swimsuit and lingerie pics on spec.

I made a comment in an earlier post that the background color makes a
difference to me in some of the shots that I'm taking with my new D40.
I was told that it was "uninteresting and of no significance".
Well, it is.  I took 8 shots using the same, exact set-up except for
