i've inherited a computer with loads of family genealogy... photos and stories et all... but its god gobs of files with .lpi extensions... which i can't seem to open with anything on my computer? anyone have any ideas?

i have an olympus stylus digital camera. when i open the lens there is no display on the screen. i can take a picture using the view finder. i can also display the photos on the card on the screen. the battery indicator shows full charge. what could the problem be?

I'm surprsed that the prosumer ($300-) photo printers from Epson and Canon do NOT have a network i/f, which is too bad for me since I was considering the R1400. Any recomms for comparable photo printers (not all in ones) in this price range with network i/f?

i have just hit the seen with a nikon D200 it it possibal to take a picture of a picture or crop it and save it I have looked all over the camera can not find the menu to crop it's a bible to hunt through can any one help please

Anybody own a Fujifilm FinePix F40fd digital camera? What are your opinions of this camera? Which accessories do you recommend with this camera - compact protective case, memory card, ac adapter, lens cleaning cloth, lcd screen protector, extra lithium-ion battery, etc.

Is there a driver which allows you to access the Canon A720 IS as a drive letter? With three (a Kodak, a Sony vidcam, and an Olympus) previous cameras, I was able to ignore the install disks and very efficiently download

I seem to be having a hell of a time searching paper profiles for my printer online except when printer and paper are of course from the same manufacturer. Is this common or am I just daft?

Do digital SLR cameras like the Nikon D40 and D80 and the Canon 400D have cable release capability? Do they come with or offer some electronic cable release? Do you need to use some sort of mechanical cable relase adapter bracket to use a cable release with such digital SLRs?
