Canon Epoca 13531 Jan 2008 21:01 GMT2
I've just bought a close-up lens attachment (from eBay) for my Canon Epoca.
It's marked as a genuine Canon accessory, but I can't get it to fit. It just
won't lock into place and I've tried for 30 minutes. There are no
instructions and the seller cannot help.  Has anybody any ...
Waterproof prints31 Jan 2008 20:18 GMT6
I want to get my wife a locket for her birthday.  The problem is I
know she will forget at least once to take it off before getting in
the shower, which will naturally ruin the pix inside.  Rather than
constantly replace the pix, I wonder if there is a way to create
"Battery Empty" problem with fully charged batteries31 Jan 2008 15:37 GMT27
I have an Olympus D595 5MP Digital Camera with 3x Optical Zoom, bought about
2.5 years ago. I can no longer get it to start. No matter what set of
fully-charged batteries I put into it, I get the "battery empty" screen and
it immediately shuts down.
Small Apertures and Neutral Density Filters30 Jan 2008 20:12 GMT25
I've noticed that many point-and-shoots have a minimum aperture of about

My Canon A720 can be fitted with an adapter that will accept filters, etc,

Newbie30 Jan 2008 09:26 GMT5
Hello, I suppose this is my introduction.  I have been a hobbyist
photographer for a long time, but with the purchase of an Olympus dSLR
2 years ago, I've been pursuing it with a bit more passion.
I joined the list just for some support I suppose, and I am certainly
Plug-and-Play Camera30 Jan 2008 04:58 GMT49
I am looking for a simple digital camera that:
1. Takes pictures in JPEG format.

You help is much appreciated in advance.
RAW converter29 Jan 2008 21:37 GMT31
I'm currently using the RAW fiel converter plugin for my camera in
Photoshop, but it's not everything it could be in my opinion.
Can anyone recommend a good (either free or else easily affordable on a low
budget) RAW converter that will work for Fuji RAF format files?
[PHOTO] Pelicans coming in to land29 Jan 2008 10:56 GMT10
I had been trying to get the fella on the water in the sunset shots but
was losing light. I was about to take the flash off and noticed these
two coming in to land.  I got a couple of shots but the flash only fired
on this one.

Question about memory card capacity.28 Jan 2008 20:37 GMT16
Approximately how many pictures can you store on a 2gb memory card at the
highest quality when using a 7megapixel camera. I looked in the manual that I
downloaded but couldn't find the answer to this question.
