Lens Cover Question06 Nov 2007 04:20 GMT38
I just got my first Real camera, a Canon 20D (slightly used, looks new,
works great).  Yeah!
Is there a smarter, handier way to handle the lens cover?  Right now when I

DIY Warm Card?02 Nov 2007 21:51 GMT9
I was wondering if anyone had any experience with making a DIY warm
card.  I found one web page that suggested a color hex of D1EEF2 and
that seemed to be pretty close to the colors I was playing with.  So I
started wondering if anyone else has made one and found a particularly
Attaching photos to frames02 Nov 2007 16:11 GMT4
A few weeks ago I asked some questions in this ng about framing prints (i.e.
ink jet prints).  I got some great feedback, one of which was to purchase
frames from  Frame Destination, which I did so.  Great prices by the way,
about 44 USD for a 17x23 inch frame with mat for a ...

Microsoft Photo Editor Question02 Nov 2007 11:46 GMT11
I have a desktop and a laptop, both having the same version of Microsoft
Photo Editor.  The desktop running WindowsXP opens the photos from my camera
while the laptop running W2K does not recognize the format.  Any ideas why
this is happening?  I just need to adjust brightness ...
Lightroom Library questions02 Nov 2007 06:49 GMT8
Are Lightroom questions fair game here?  IIf not, please point me to the
right newsgroup (nothing comes up in a "lightroom" search of groups on
my server).
At any rate, a couple of questions. Both are in Library module.
Fujifilm - FinePix S5500 Zoom review01 Nov 2007 22:46 GMT2
Mention the phrase 'digital camera' and too often the immediate image
that comes to mind is of a lightweight, flat, rectangular piece of
