Kodak repair14 Nov 2007 13:20 GMT5
I have a Kodak DX4330 digital (about 4 years old). Kodak have quoted me £90
+ shipping for repair.  I think this must be a joke as I could buy a
reconditioned higher spec. camera for less than £50.  Surely they never
receive any repair business at these prices.

CdS Light Meter11 Nov 2007 11:29 GMT4
Found a Shepherd DM-170 Digital Exposure Meter at a thrift shop
yesterday evening at what seemed to be a fair price ($2.95 + tax) for a
non-functioning item, battery was stone dead. There is a dealer's price
sticker on it suggesting it might have been a pricey unit in its day.

Purchase Advise - EOS 40D or D80 ?11 Nov 2007 00:37 GMT52

on-line reviews, etc. he is torn between the Canon EOS 40D with the 28-135
mm lens kit (~$1,450)  and the Nikon D80 with the ...
