There were Sony's Bionz, Lumix's Venus III and Canon Digic III image processor engines. However, we never heard an official name of Nikon's image processor engine..... until now. Nikon has finally announced its new EXPEED image processor engine.

No matter how I set the color mode on my new D80, the EXIF data for each photo is always identified as mode Ia. I wonder if the camera is recording the color mode improperly inthe EXIF data, or whether the camera is "stuck" in mode Ia
