| New photo site | 05 Jun 2007 01:07 GMT | 1 |
I got a D200 about four months ago and have been shooting almost everyday. No film cost makes it wonderful. Here's a "vanity" site I created to put some of my pics on the web. It probably looks best at 1024X768. www.visitmywork.com

| RAW conversion | 04 Jun 2007 02:34 GMT | 9 |
I want to start shooting in only RAW on my Nikon D80, but I was wondering what I will need to convert? I do not have Photoshop, but I do have The Gimp. Also, Nikon has their CaptureNX software. Is this worth pursuing?

| Mayo Clinic has some new ideas about how we should work at computers | 03 Jun 2007 21:20 GMT | 41 |
Whilst I'm not sure how this will work with the fine motor movements used in image retouching, it does seem like an interesting idea well backed by research: http://www.dimagemaker.com/article.php?articleID=1000

| Camera Batteries | 03 Jun 2007 20:58 GMT | 15 |
I own a P/S Kodak CX6330. I bought a NIMH recharger plus 8 NIMH AA batteries at Fry's. I use the camera only intermittently, say once or twice a month, for a total of 50 shots a month. Every time I try to use the camera, the batteries are low. I then recharge

I bought a D40 awhile ago and I'm extremely pleased :D Now I've got to the stage of thinking of a new/additional lense and am looking at the 70-200/300 focal length. I am confused though ... I know the D40 uses new fangled motorised lenses, but I am not sure which

| Do other cameras have built-in feature similar to "Color accent" scene in some Canon DCs? | 01 Jun 2007 13:55 GMT | 15 |
I notice that Canon G7, as well as a few other Canon compact digital models has this feature, which can be set before a photo is taken. With color accent, you can choose one color only to be present in the image, while the other colors will be in B&W. Does Nikon compact

| taking digital images in black and white mode | 01 Jun 2007 08:13 GMT | 21 |
>From what I've been told, the sensor in a digital camera measures only light intensity, not color, and so in order to capture a color photograph three filter (red, blue, and green) have to be rotated in front of the sensor (basically taking three pictures). So, my
