I have a Canon A610 compact camera.  When I switch it off the lens
protective cover only closes half-way.  Anyone have any suggestions as to
how I can remedy this or even tell me the technical term for the cover so I
can do a search?

My brother wants to make some large photos of his 50th Anniversary Ford
T-Bird which is black.  He is thinking about 30x36.  Is the best to take
with 35mm and send it to a film processor to scan to negative and print
a large picture?  Any advise appreciated...
