I have just seen an advert for a Nikon D40.
in the picture you can see that the lens is a 18-55 mm F3.5-5.6
Is this the focal length of the lens taking the 1.5 conversion factor
(because it is not a full size sensor) into account or do I have to do

Does anyone know where I might find one of those little adaptors you fit
onto the lens to 'convert' the angle of the shot by 90 degrees so you can

It isn't cheating to correct images in PS but it isn't photography
either. The shooter you hired was right though, with film you had to
be good, now you only have to be good at Photoshop. I personely no
longer photograph weddings because it has become a race to the bottom

Does anyone know the legalities of taking a DSLR to a stadium to a
pro-sports event ( as a spectator, not a press photographer!) ? ie. Major
League Baseball or NFL games?

Recently I took a 1GB memory chip from a Sony DSC W80 to Walgreen and
they transferred the images to two cds.  The camera is new so I am not
in tune with all the options etc.  Looking at the images, on my
computer, the landscape pictures seems not as sharp as I expected (?).
