Best background for photographing engineering parts12 Mar 2007 05:52 GMT8
I often take photos of components such as circuit boards, mechanical
parts, etc.  The parts can be just about any color and are typically
from 1 inch square in size to 12 inches square. For quick setup, I
would like to have a foamcore background to be used for these parts
The Holy Shroud11 Mar 2007 22:46 GMT1
Back from Africa, where I was a secular missionary  in the Kayon
Ghozi's leprosary (Burundi) because of health reasons, I wrote these
lucky Flashes of mine, which got a resounding success ,on Turin's HOLY
SHROUD.
Exif question11 Mar 2007 08:26 GMT2
I've been looking for a simple program to transfer the exif data from
the original pic to one that's been altered in PS 4. I found exifer
which seemed to be exactly what I wanted, but it can not read the exif
data from any of the original pictures from my nikon d80. Irfanview

develop digital images - I'll be using a digital camera - Nikon 70s), any
rental equipment to be used (lighting), labor for ...

Histograms09 Mar 2007 10:38 GMT4
I would like to understand histograms better.  I know in the instruction
manual it says you want a graph that is basically centered.
What exactly is the histogram, and how is it used?  In what situations would
it be useful?
Histogram Anomaly09 Mar 2007 05:43 GMT9
I've been trying to learn more about how to make effective use of the
histogram while shooting, and as part of that I took a bracketted series of
the view out my back door (nothing special, just the handiest outdoor scene
at the time).
Battery Corrosion09 Mar 2007 02:18 GMT5
I have an old camera and flash that I got from my wife's grandfather.  The
flash had batteries left in it and they have corroded or leaked or whatever
you want to call it and there is a mess all inside the compartment where the
batteries are located.  I basically just closed it ...

Anybody else have troubles getting rebates from Canon in a timely manner?
Two years ago I made a purchase and applied for the rebate (about $75.00).
I'm usually very careful about complying with all the requirements and made
sure I sent all that was requested; copies of sales ...
