Anyone know if mounting a uv filter on the lens of a digital camera (Kodak Z650) will affect the auto focus or degrade the image. Just looking for an opinion before I purchase a filter.

I have an E-500 and can't dicide which macro lense to buy. Which lense is the best for macro. The crop factor is x2. 105mm Sigma (focus limit 35cm) ,or 50 mm Olympus (focus limit 24cm.)
