Trying to project movie film through a couple of 60mm achromats, as per
other posts in here. I've been trying to find the optimum distance to have
them apart to get the entire image within the confines of the lens. Have
them mounted on either end of a PVC pipe and keep trimming it ...
My First DSLR - Pentax K100D30 Nov 2006 19:44 GMT7
I've been wanting a DSLR for a few years, but held back from the high
prices, confusing specs and profusion of models, and the rapid
technological improvements that kept coming through.  I had "decision

German cameras29 Nov 2006 21:56 GMT7
How are German cameras manufacturers doing these days?  Is there a
website where I can read through the changes of these companies in the
past 10-20 years? I noticed that some of these manufacturers were
originally from East Germany. How did they transformed and survived
Quesion about Image Sensors29 Nov 2006 21:00 GMT4
Here are the specs for three image sensors on three different cameras
that I'm looking at.  I don't really know what the numbers or CCD
means.  Can anyone explain?  Which one is the best?
Thanks,
Photo help needed29 Nov 2006 18:53 GMT3
I am getting into bird photography.
It started with some hummingbirds, and now, I am planning on setting up a
blind this spring, and doing some serious photos.  I do it off the deck at
my cabin, so I can set up feeders, and a camera on a tripod with camo
Photoshop CS2 tutorial advice requested...29 Nov 2006 17:58 GMT5
I just bought my spouse Photoshop CS2 for her birthday. While she is no
novice to computers or cameras, she *will* be very much a novice to
Photoshop CS2. I am aware of three tutorial books: (1) Adobe's
Classroom in a Book; (2) Photoshop One-on-One (O'Reilly), and (3)

than other ways.
Just want to learn.

Significance of focal length and why won't camcorder focus on something my eyes see as focused?28 Nov 2006 14:54 GMT2
You may have seen my previous inquiry regarding projecting a movie through
achromatic lenses.

projected image and bounce it off a mirror, I see an image that fits nicely
