I thought that I heard that in the past few months that Nikon has improved this software. Does anyone know if this is true? And if so, what kind of improvements have you see, or heard about that you trust as being pretty accurate?

I have been hiking New Hampshire's 4K footers and have been seeing the need for a small, lightweight tripod to carry along. My hikes are only 4-9 hours long, but size and very lightweight are the important factors. Any suggestions learned one?
