A family member will be in Phoenix AZ next week. We want to purchase a Canon EOS 350D (and lenses etc) while there as it is significantly cheaper than here in South Africa. Does anyone know of a supplier and/or specialist photographic retailer/shop close to the Marriott Desert ...

When I took photographs with a normal (non digital) it was Single Lens Reflex, and referred to the fact that one was looking through the lens at the potential picture, and not through a viewfinder at an approximate spot.

| Restoration gone wrong | 07 Jun 2006 03:36 GMT | 5 |

Does anyone here use a Canon 100mm Macro as their normal lense? Or would it really be better in every way to have a separate 100mm normal? I know the Canon normal is faster (2 vs 2.8) and smaller and lighter but it's also an add expense. I don't own either right now, but with ...

I normally take pics at FINE JPEG setting, LARGE size. Recently, I noticed that when I take pics at ISO 1600, there was a red spot with white center; the spot was almost circular about 2-3 mm diameter. It was placed at about 1/6th of the total length from the left and 1/4th

| 10-22mm for Nikon D70s? | 04 Jun 2006 08:59 GMT | 4 |
I need some help to make the right decision: Should I choose the Sigma 10-20mm, the Sigma 12-24mm, the Tokina 12-24mm or the Tamron 11-18mm for my Nikon D70s? The Nikon 12-24mm is too expensive for me.
