Stupid question here - what's the benefit of the lens shade thing that goes
on the end of the lens?  Is this something that is needed, or can I leave
it off?

hi ive just taken a great photo i believe and even got photo of the day

Hi y'all.... went to see BB King last Saturday. We were sitting on the 4th
row and all I had was my ist DL with Pentax 75-300mm. I've only used the
built-in flash, but I still had to change the ISO to 1600 or sometimes 3200,
and the photo's are still too dark. Can somebody tell me ...

I just received a D200 camera and I can't make the built in flash to
automatically work when it's needed. I'm using the "P" mode . But even that

i shoot my artwork. they are oils and there are lots of reflections.
a pro finally showed me how to shoot artwork. he had polarizer filters
on both his lamps and his camera....he rotated his lamp filters until
he got as much glare/reflection out as possible, and then when he

I received 2 identical photos: pic01 (54 kb) and pic 02 (141 kb).
I opened them in Photoshop CS2.
pic01 was 5,125 x 6,667 inches with a resolution of 72px / inch and 369
x 480 px for a total of 518,9k

I've dodged the whole topic of color management until now, because I
rarely print and the results have "acceptable" so far.  No more.  I
recently captured my best shot in 20 years, and I'm having a devil of a
time getting it to print right.
