Hi y'all.... I have a Pentax ist DL with the 18-55mm and a Pentax 75-300mm lens. Now I'd like to upgrade these two lensen in one and I've found a Sigma 28-300mm f/3.5-6.3 DG Macro lens.

Been a "film" user for many years (Nikon FE, Nikon F2, Haselblad CM/500,..) and will continued to shoot film for a while, but I see the benefits of a small sized digital camera that I can carry with me all the time, for that opportunity shot that I may never encounter again :-) ...

I read that more pixels is not necessarily good because noise can be introduced and the image takes longer to save to memory. I am a "home user" which is to say that I'm not even a keen photographer. But I don't want poor quality pictures. Biggest ever
