Printing on canvas23 May 2006 20:39 GMT5
Hello --
I am computer literate and want to help an artist friend transfer some
of her digital photographs to canvas.  She wants to be able to print on
canvas up to 24" wide.
Camera Abuse23 May 2006 18:43 GMT17
I'm a video person by trade and have very little knowledge about digital
still cameras. My colleagues and I are considering a project that would work
best using a still camera and converting the images into a digital video
clip. For this purpose I'm sure we don't need a huge mega ...

I'm trying to make a decision between the two.  I've always had an Olympus
and love
the picture quality.  Amazon's reviews on the Canon Powershot, however, look
pretty

question about Nikon Coolpix22 May 2006 05:57 GMT1
I've read a review recently at www.dpreview.com
about the Coolpix 5700, and it mentions that the rechargeable battery
supplied by Nikon can be exchanged for the 2CR5 instead.
Now, knowing the 5400 and 5000 also use the same model rechargeable battery,
How much light and what type for a light tent22 May 2006 03:21 GMT3
I appreciate the above may be asking how long is a piece of string but
after recently building a cheap pvc/cotton cloth light tent and playing
around with a few objects I was planning to do some higher speed
photography with it..
how do i store prints?21 May 2006 17:12 GMT2
I have about 100 enlargement prints-- 8x12, 12x15, 16x20, and right now
they are pretty much all in those glass Euroclip frames, got that way as I
had the photos printed. But I want to get rid of the glass euroclip frames
(downsize my clutter) and just store the prints safely ...

Prints from Slides21 May 2006 14:11 GMT6
Excuse my inexperience here!
I've recently returned to photography with a 645 MF Mamiya and whilst I'm
happy with my choice of B & W film, I have yet to settle on a 120 colour
film.  I shoot mainly outdoor/landscape but find the negative prints always
Return to Film21 May 2006 12:11 GMT27
Well, I have spent thousands of hours and invested large amounts of cash in
digital equipment and have decided to go back to film. I have never been
totally satisfied with the colour rendition of my Canon cameras, the
resolution is great but that's not what it's all about. I was ...

How do you mix up a bleach?20 May 2006 14:17 GMT6
Hi there...dumb novice question.
I'd like to know what to use to bleach some black and white
photographs. I'd perhaps foolishly assumed that I could create a usable
bleach using Clorox, but even a pretty strong mix (about 50/50
A novice looking for tips, hints, suggestions and critique.20 May 2006 12:37 GMT37
I've recently found myself attracted to photography has a hobby. I
started taking photos, and after I took around a thousand or so shots,
I went through them all and picked which I thought were the nicest.

Polarizers and sun hoods equals fuss19 May 2006 09:32 GMT15
Always when I want to create pictures on a bright sunny day I use my sun
hoods to ensure no flares will be produced. In the same time I want to
use my polarizers. Most of the time when I take a picture, I use this
sequence:
