Nikon 80-400 Lens question/problem...31 May 2006 00:47 GMT5
I picked up a Nikon 80-400mm f/4.5-5.6 D-AF VR Auto Focus Lens for my
Nikon D50.  I can't seem to get a clear image with it.  It is clear on
the viewfinder as soon as I snap the shot, it looks blurred on the
camera.  Could this be a faulty lens?
QUESTION???!!!!30 May 2006 17:24 GMT13
I'm a student in a college class.  I've been assigned by my professor
to ask all of you in this group for your favorite place in the world to
participate in taking pictures.  Where is your favorite place to take
pictures at and what is it like??

x 4" sections out of  large 8.1 Mega pixel photos?

Ticked Off by Interenet Printing..29 May 2006 18:06 GMT4
Yes, I'm just ticked off by the internet printing!
Why is it that every time you click to print one page, you always get an
extra page of 1 or two pages with nothing on it? It always prints just an
extra web address info or something that you didn't ask for. So from a pack

Is it possible to use Picture Project, or some other sofware,  to make
a slide show and then burn it to a disk is such a way that it can be
shown by playing it in a DVD play connected to a TV?
I want to show my dad my photos and he does not have a computer.

Nikon D5028 May 2006 17:43 GMT14
The Nikon D50 is the one I am now considerng buying.  I liked it
better than the Canon after seeing and holding both of them.
Would there be an advantage of going to the D70?   I am not a skilled
photographer, and this my first digial camera, hmmm, I seem to have
Is Kodachrome dead?28 May 2006 16:14 GMT8
The owner of my local camera store tells me that he, and most other
dealers, no longer carry Kodachrome and it will soon be unavailable.
Further, it will be soon be impossible to get it processed.   If I
want to take slides (and I do), I should use Ektachrome.  So, he sold

find a little controversial, perhaps even offensive, especially those
among who consider themselves to be true artists. Never mind, a little
