I am thinking of buying this "Tamron Zoom Telephoto AF 75-300mm f/4.0-5.6 LD Macro Autofocus Lens for Canon EOS" Its available for around $104. The lens does not come with an imagestablizer feature as far as I understand.

con: EVF are hard to manually focus. They freeze at the moment of focus and take long enough to focus and set exposure that moving subjects have already changed position.
