My mother has studio photographs that have been in frames for 30,40 and even 50 years. They are stuck to the glass. She read that putting them in the freezer would loosen them, but I don't know whether to try this. Does anyone know if it will work or of a good way to get the ...

I have a HP PSC 21-something-or-other (I forget the exact numbers). I want to be able to scan my negs, both 35mm and 120 mf. I used to have a Lexmark All in One, and that came with a nifty adapter that you just plugged into the unit and placed over the negs you wanted

I saw a documentary yesterday on a war photojournalist called James Nachtwey. I found his pictures to be the most shocking and touching that i ever saw. His sensitivity beautifully permeates through his pictures, in a very unique kind of way.

Somehow I always had it in my head that it was opaque to start with and then turned more or less transparent after exposure and development. It occurs to me that this is probably wrong and it probably starts off clear and just turns dark the opposite way that negative film does, ...
