Is your digital camera compatible with your computer?14 Apr 2006 12:52 GMT2
Is your digital camera compatible with your computer?
So you recently bought a digital camera or perhaps your thinking about
it. And perhaps you may be wondering how many pictures will your
computer hold? First you need to answer a few questions?
Olympus C-350 Zoom sans disk?13 Apr 2006 22:52 GMT2
Hi  Chaps!
Just bought a second hand digital camera (as title) but it has no software
disk with it. Tried to download software from Olympus's site but it needs
the original (off the disk supplied with camera) before it will load. I have
Would someone help a lurker13 Apr 2006 21:47 GMT10
My mother has studio photographs that have been in frames for 30,40 and even
50 years.  They are stuck to the glass.  She read that putting them in the
freezer would loosen them, but  I don't know whether to try this.  Does
anyone know if it will work or of a good way to get the ...
Transparency Adapter?13 Apr 2006 21:30 GMT4
I have a HP PSC 21-something-or-other (I forget the exact numbers). I
want to be able to scan my negs, both 35mm and 120 mf.
I used to have a Lexmark All in One, and that came with a nifty adapter
that you just plugged into the unit and placed over the negs you wanted
Panos13 Apr 2006 20:08 GMT6
Does anyone know of a good program which can stitch Panos together.

James Nachtwey13 Apr 2006 17:35 GMT2
I saw a documentary yesterday on a war photojournalist called James
Nachtwey. I found his pictures to be the most shocking and touching that i
ever saw. His sensitivity beautifully permeates through his pictures, in a
very unique kind of way.

photography trip NZ13 Apr 2006 03:49 GMT4
Hi photography fans,
I am considering a photo trip through both isles of New Zealand. I was
told the scenery is awesome and 'they' say you can make great pictures
over there.
What does unexposed reversal film look like?13 Apr 2006 02:09 GMT9
Somehow I always had it in my head that it was opaque to start with and
then turned more or less transparent after exposure and development.  It
occurs to me that this is probably wrong and it probably starts off
clear and just turns dark the opposite way that negative film does, ...
Scanner for negs & photos12 Apr 2006 16:56 GMT2
Can anyone recommend a good scanner?  I need it to be able to scan both colour and b/w (sepia too) photographs and also 35mm negatives.  My budget is £200.  Any advice received with thanks.

Repair question: Canon EOS power problem12 Apr 2006 02:22 GMT2
I have a Canon EOS Elan 7 SLR camera.  The camera is not working
because it is not getting power -- the battery icon on the display
shows no battery power.  (Yes, I have changed the batteries.)  Has
anyone had a similar problem and if so can you give me an idea of how

new photoblog11 Apr 2006 21:52 GMT9
I just started with photography three years ago. I haven't been making
photos a lot, but from time to time I have to go out and shoot some
pictures. Of course, when I'm travelling I always take my camera with
me. It's not a digital, just a plain old analog Canon SLR.  I just
