Critique My Pictures - Sportbikes, Nature, Blown Glass Art, Etc.18 Apr 2006 00:46 GMT2
I've taken thousands of digital images over the years and I'm just now

I've mostly used compact cameras in the Canon Powershot lineup but I

Where to get prints??17 Apr 2006 19:51 GMT4
I'm trying to get large size prints (24x36in). I have a large enough
size digital file, yet I can't seem to find a printer that is able to
handle any request. I've tried Snapfish and ofoto, but those just
compress whatever digital you send their way, which destroys the
"Sleeves" for selling photos - where to get these?17 Apr 2006 17:06 GMT3
I have been to several galleries in London recently where I have seen
hard copy photos of various sizes being sold in protective, clear
plastic "sleeves".  I guess this is done to protect the photo itself
while customers handle different photos.
TTL Flash and In camera meters16 Apr 2006 21:17 GMT4
I have a scenario where I would be using my flash as a fill flash. 1 to 1
1/2 stops less than the camera (D70 - sb 600) So I meter the subjects skin

manual. Again I have the flash itself set to provide 1 to 1 ...

Could someone email the users manual off of the CD-Rom for this camera
please? The quick start printed one lacks detail and I don't have the disk.
Also, if someone could stick the disk image up somewhere to be downloaded I
would appreciate it. I have the sleeve (and camedia ...

Photographing the full moon - advice needed asap16 Apr 2006 03:28 GMT10
I'm trying to get some good shots of the full moon.  So far I've either got just a glowing white disc or a blurry picture (because I was holding the camera and I'd had the best part of a bottle of wine :-).  I'll be trying again tonight.  I have a Canon 350D with a 100-300mm ...

a group of people dancing around her. I want her to be static and clear
but the group to be blurred as they circle round her.  I don't want to
use flash but hopefully the room will be reasonably lit.  Any
