problems.
IM now using a Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT with a Canon EF 70-300mm  IS USM.
Is it a good idea to use my new kit at temperature like -10°C (14°F) or even

Cable release problem...advice?14 Feb 2006 05:04 GMT6
I have a Canon AE-1 programmable. Some years ago I bought a Quantaray
40" cable release for long exposures. Though I rarely used it, it
worked fine until recently. But now, when I press down the plunger of
the cable release, I can't get the camera to fire.

I have a Canon EOS 20D, and am doing a documentary on laundromats at
night. I am having a difficult time getting shots that capture the neon
signage and flourescent interior. Does anyone have any exposure/lens
advice?

Buildings of Hong Kong13 Feb 2006 08:02 GMT2
I took some photographs of Hong Kong fairly recently - just uploaded

Securing a pass to photograph an event???13 Feb 2006 00:52 GMT23
Not being a professional photographer working for a company, how does one go
about securing a pass to photograph an event?  I know there is no one
definitive answer to this question, but I see there are photographers in
here from all over the world who can provide their personal ...

Sigma 105mm Macro or Canon 100mm Macro12 Feb 2006 14:37 GMT2
I am wondering if there is much of the difference in quality between
the Canon 100mm f2.8 Macro Lens and the Sigma 105mm f2.8 Macro.
Both seems to be pretty good lenses, but I'm not sure if it is worth
spending the extra money on a lens for the sake of having the word
solarizing lith film11 Feb 2006 21:07 GMT4
I am trying to solarize some type 3 kodak lith film sheets, using their own
Kodalith A & B developer and some BW negatives. I am projecting 35mm negs
onto 8 x 10 lith sheets in hopes that getting a good solarization effect on
film will let me then print multiple copies, compared to ...
