I am confused as to why a high ISO is needed at all. ISO800 is grainier than ISO100. When shooting stationary objects in low light, why use it instead of increasing exposure compensation, or decreasing the shutter speed

startin to pull my hair out now... my insurance company requires photos of a few small paintings I own, but whenever I try taking a pic all I end up with is a vague image of the painting and the cams reflection in the glass protecting the pics.. :o(

The Casio has worked out very well for an extremely small camera that can be carried with me at all times. The SD card I bought with the camera is 1 gig (the max. Casio sells) Nowhere in the specs does it list the max. card it can take...

Canon with its line of 1d Series cameras has made it a night mare for some photographers. with heavy and bulky batteries. Why canon???? You cant even find a decent after market charger for the np-e3 battery. you will have to pay from 350 and up or get a used one on e-bay. why not ...

I saw it on the net a few months ago ...it worked like a CP & the one filter could be turned like a CP & change its value equaling several ND filters in one. Can anyone help with a link to where i can buy it please ? Boris

I have been shopping around for a macro lens and I am pretty sure I'll be getting myself a 100mm f2.8 Canon Macro lens. One thing I noticed on the specs of this lens is that it has a focusing range of 1:1 to infinity.
