| scanning | 10 Jan 2006 13:35 GMT | 3 |
Is it better to scan in a 35mm negative to the original size or to select a target size like 4x6 before it imports into Photoshop? Or is better to just scan in the 4x6 photo prints from the developer? The file size must be under 100mb. The inkjet prints will be around 11x14.

| Canon A620: no good for video | 09 Jan 2006 20:18 GMT | 3 |
I went and purchased the $400 Canon A620, which is 7 megapixels and which can supposedly record video at 30 frames per second. Well, the framerate may be real, but the sound quality is horrific.

I havwe a Nikon N60 with a Quantaray Zoom lens 70-300mm, 1:4 - 5.6. I forget from photography class what the apature size means other than the size of the opening that light is allowed in. I usually use automatic mode anyway.

| zoom lens question | 09 Jan 2006 13:01 GMT | 1 |
I have a Nikon N60 with a Quantary 70-300mm zoom lens, 1:4-5.6. Most of my photos come out dark when using this lens. Somebody told me I need a zoom with a wider apature to allow more light in. I usually just use the auto mode feature.
