The best digital camera?09 Dec 2005 19:48 GMT10
After reading the reponses to Jonathans post of what brand DSLR to choose I
will be taking a hard look at Canon when I get to the point of buying one. I
had originally decided to purchase a Pentax, so I could keep the lenses I
use with my ME, which I bought in the 70's. The ME ...

Review of Fuji FinePix E900 with sample photos09 Dec 2005 14:13 GMT5
This fall my Nikon 990 digital camera died its final death and I have
been hunting for a replacement since. Last Friday I got a FujiFilm
FinePix E900 digital camera. I've shot about 1,000 pictures with it and
written up a review with some sample photos. In a nutshell I like the
Light source too bright09 Dec 2005 12:51 GMT5
This may be a bit of a stupid question, but how would you take a
photograph when the light reading is too high even at the camera's

class, and I couldn't remember whether or not they ever went over this.
Agfa Camera Convertion09 Dec 2005 06:52 GMT3
I have a very old Agfa SLR camera having a 50 mm film compartment and

Large DOF experiment08 Dec 2005 13:06 GMT29
Lately I have been making very high-resolution photos by stitching
number of smaller photos together.  In these tests I had been leaving
the focus on manual and leaving it fix to one value.
As you increase the resolution of an imaging system its DOF must fall,
35 mm slides08 Dec 2005 10:53 GMT16
I have about 1000 35 mm colour slides that I would like to convert to
digital. the local photo stores want over $1 per slide. Is there anyone
close to me that would be willing to do the copies for a more reasonable
price?

IR pass filters07 Dec 2005 14:53 GMT5
I have a problem in my house with rodents (I think they're mice). I was
hoping that I would be able to see exactly what is behind the wall with an
IR pass filter either on my digital camera or phone camera. Will this work?
If not, suggestions?
Taking pics outside in the dark07 Dec 2005 14:47 GMT8
I have a Canon Ius 700 7.1MP camera. Tonight I went out in my car at night,
parked underneath some flood lights and got ready to take some pics, the
natural lighting was just fine, the car looked grerat underneath the
floodlights.
