For a couple years I have been using Adobe PhotoDeluxe Business Edition

A couple nights ago when I finished editing a photo and tried to save it

Digital Camera Purchase Advice. Please.12 Nov 2005 20:12 GMT7
Years ago I used a Pentrax SLR camera. All the settings could be manually
set, and I could put on a different lens or filter.
I'm now looking for a digital camera that performs similar to that old SLR.
I'd like to be able to manually control things, put on filters, or just go
Lighting for studio portraits12 Nov 2005 09:14 GMT14
What would be good (but inexpensive) setup for portrait photography?  I
know I need backdrops and a possibly a prop or two, but I'm more
concerned with fill lights and strobes.
What brands are good, what are bad, which are more flexible.
lens suggestions12 Nov 2005 09:11 GMT5
I am finally in a position where I can replace the kit lens (18-55 EFs) that
came with my 20D and I was wondering if you  all might have some
suggestions. Most of my photographs are of landscapes and cityscapes when I
travel.   I have been looking at both the Canon 17-40 F4 L  ...

Anybody found a program that does a good job of
finding dupe files and maybe similar files by color or
some other match?
Thanks.
Monopods with 'support'11 Nov 2005 11:46 GMT4
I'm at a wee bit of a decision making dilemma....
Background - I have a Olympus c765 camera (10x zoom) and a Olympus 1.4
teleconvertor. I generally take pictures outdoors, nature shots etc on walks
and at the park (plants and fast moving animals like squirrels!).

B&W Getting Blacks Black11 Nov 2005 02:24 GMT17
I am new to black and white photography. I just shot two rolls of B&W film
TMAX-100 and got the results back.
After looking at the results I see that all the pictures are grey, no real
blacks. I was using a red filter to make the clouds stand out, but I

The future of 35mm film09 Nov 2005 23:45 GMT37
Photography has been a hobby of mine for more than 30 years. While far from
a pro I would like to think I am quite good at what I shoot, and know a
fair bit.
My question is this, is the purchase of a new high end 35mm camera a smart
Program enquiry09 Nov 2005 13:55 GMT11
Is there a programme that will allow me to have a camera connected to the
computer so that any picture taken will go directly into a database or a
spreadsheet - bypassing any image editing software...?
Thanks!
A photo for train lovers, a view of Silverton Colorado09 Nov 2005 00:29 GMT45
This is a photo looking down on the town of Silverton Colorado, this is
the end of the Darango to Silverton railroad, which runs a number of
old steam trains daily.  You can get a pretty good view of a few of the
trains by selecting original at the bottom of the photo.
