I'm looking for a lightweight/pocket camera that does portrait well and
could be
used in video conferencing, if that's possible and won't disappoint on
vacation/landscape pictures.

I've just picked up a Canon 20D and looking for the best tutorial or
learning course.  I'm told that I can get a short course specific to the
Canon 20D on CD from Ebay.  Are these good?  Is there a better resource?

I'm just starting to get back into photography, just saving for a new camera

I am currently looking for high resolution quality images for various
projects. Most subjects are of interest but particular themes I'm working on
at the moment are:
Animals in the wild (Safari pix of particular interest)

Just wondering if this is normal.
I have a Fuji FinePix 340 which takes fine pictures for my needs
But it eats batteries something fierce.
So I got a 3V adaptor per the manual and it works fine for saving

My daughter just got married and they had choosen a photographer in New
Jersey by recommendations.
About a month before the wedding, they met with the primary photographer
(there were supposed to be two at the wedding and we ended up with three)

Can someone please post the FAQ's for this newsgroup please. I use a news
reader, not a browser to access the group.

Never opened myself to public scrutiny before, so thought it was high time.
I put some of my favorite pics Ive taken over the past year or so, wouldnt
mind some feed back. theres a place to click by each photo so you can leave
your thought, you will have to copy some letters into ...

Ok.. with the advent of digital cameras, many of us are now shooting like
crazy, perhaps thousands of photos in a year.
I'll get to my question in a moment, but first will advance my thoughts so
all will know what I feel I am up against.
