I'd like to try taking these - do you need a special type of camera or film?
Meopta Axomat Student11 Oct 2005 14:07 GMT2
Hi there - I'm looking to buy some dark room equipment to start
developing my own black and white prints. I've come across the
following two items on ebay and I wonder whether anyone knows if they
are any good?
Papparazzi easy targets in Lohan accident11 Oct 2005 07:03 GMT2
According to an eyewitness to the accident there didn't seem to be any
papparazzi close to Lohan's vehicle.  The only person who says there
was is Lohan's publicist, who wasn't there.
She was not even driving, a man was, and they might have been going a

How did you learn Photoshop?11 Oct 2005 06:36 GMT5
I have been using PS for the since version 4 or 5. I have never taken and
courses, but feel that there is probably a lot that the program can do that
I don't know/take advantage of.
How did you learn it? Books, courses (correspondance, classroom), etc.
newbie question - blury pics w/ new Kodak P85010 Oct 2005 23:54 GMT4
I just purchased a Kodak P850. My daughter plays both softball and
volleyball. I have gotten very acceptable (to me the newbie) pictures at
the ball fields using the auto mode while there was good light. However,
when the evening comes, I have to put away the camera as the ...
Papparazzi10 Oct 2005 18:52 GMT7
I was watching a TV show last night on the tabloid papps and what got me was
how so obvious these people are trying to snap celebs. They wander around
with the world biggest digital camera and massive lens making them easy to
spot a mile off.

New photoforums have been set up at www.theshutter.co.uk - would be

OM-1n lens10 Oct 2005 00:51 GMT5
I realize 35 mm photography has long since seen it's day, but I still
have an old OM-1n and a Fuji STX-1N that I used primarily for
astrophotography 15 or 20 years ago.
The shops that I used to patronize are no more and I'm looking for a
Killing Two Birds with One Stone - help with product shots please09 Oct 2005 15:02 GMT5
Here's the situation:
I've got about 50 items to sell on ebay and I figure this is a good chance
to practice product shots.  I took photos of them a few weeks ago and when I
finally had time to look at them I was less than satisfied.  I've often had
Intimate Photography Services08 Oct 2005 16:32 GMT8
I don't know if this is the right place to be asking, but does anyone
know where I can find a photographer to take some "intimate" pictures
and/or videos of my wife and me?
Thanks.
Lens compatability08 Oct 2005 10:37 GMT1
I was given an early 1980's Canon SLR with several lenses from my father.  I don't like using film, so I would like to get a digital Canon SLR.  Would the lenses from an old Canon SLR fit on a Canon Rebel or EOS

I'm not being price driven, but want a well made durable bag for my new 35mm
system. The Billingham line looks like a quality bag. Is there any others
that compare?  Any advice/recommendations would be ...
