| Can anyone recommend a cheap UK printer for large-format canvas? | 15 Sep 2005 17:44 GMT | 3 |
Does anyone know a cheap but reliable camvas printer in the UK? I want to upload the pics as jpegs (around 500k each) and have them printed on canvas around 60cm by 80cm.. Just rolled up prints will do, I'll mount them myself. I've been to a few sites but they seem to add charges ...

| Nikon AF bodies? | 15 Sep 2005 17:28 GMT | 3 |
Is there a Nikon Autofocus body that is compatible with both the older MF AI lenses, and the newer 'G' AF lenses? I currently own a F4 and a N70, and though they can use AI lenses (with some exceptions), niether one of them is fully compatible with the 'G' lenses!

| Sigma SD9...your thoughts? | 15 Sep 2005 15:14 GMT | 115 |
I currently have a Canon 350D, but a co-worker who has been into photography for much longer than me said that had I gotten a camera like his he would have handed over (for free) a bunch of lenses that he no longer uses. He has a Sigma. Getting 5 lenses for free makes the value ...

| Wallpaper-sized prints | 14 Sep 2005 20:26 GMT | 7 |
Is there a shop that custom-prints wallpaper murals from a digital image (like 12' tall by 20' wide)? We've been looking at some large-scale wallpaper murals, and they're pretty slick, but none of them are large enough for our needs.

I just received my new Nikon DX2 and am sending it back to Adorama. When the camera is on continuous servo AF if you tilt the camera with your finger off the shutter button the shutter trips by itself taking an exposure.

| Photomicroscopy | 14 Sep 2005 01:22 GMT | 1 |
This may be the wrong NG but I need some advice on using a Nikon Coolpix 950 with a microscope to take photomicrographs. I have the proper hardware to connect the camera to the microscope, but I can't seem to take consistent pictures. Sometimes they are overexposed sometimes ...

| Resolution & size? | 14 Sep 2005 00:23 GMT | 18 |
I use a Canon S50 and Canon EOS 10D to take most of my pics, but I take thousands of them and am having a hard job of finding the time to back them all up to CD-Rs and/or DVD-Rs. Then I thought about saving them as app., 1MP images, i.e. 1024 x 768 as this would allow me to get ...

| Batch re-sizeing program? | 13 Sep 2005 16:56 GMT | 8 |
I am about to resize app., 3,000 photos and want to put them onto CD-Rs for printing by my local photo store. I have pics taken using a Canon PowerShot S50 and a Canon EOS 10D. I had hoped to be able to make them all 1024 x 768, but this only works for the S50 as the 10D needs ...
