Kirlian30 Sep 2005 09:54 GMT15
Does anyone have experience with Kirlian photography?  I see you can
purchase devices on the Internet but they seem quite expensive ($1,000+).
Is there anyway to build your own for much less?
Thanks,

How do they define "pros"?30 Sep 2005 02:36 GMT6
There seem to be many public (not necessarily publically-owned) venues
that prohibit or require permits for "pro" photographers, but not for
others.
The US National Park system is a good example, as are some cities like
Mumford Time Machine29 Sep 2005 23:58 GMT5
Does anyone have experience of using the Mumford Time Machine?
Leads/sensors seem expensive so is the whole device over-priced? Does it
work well?  Any comments?
living dangerously with a canon A-129 Sep 2005 19:11 GMT4
I suppose this is the best forum to ask this question. It's a
hypothetical, of course. Suppose one wanted to get involved in the kind
of photojournalism that takes you to the front lines of combat or
locations ravaged by inhumanity, perhaps in search of some visual

Canon pro camera question (35mm film)29 Sep 2005 11:26 GMT8
It seems the EOS1 is hard to find now these days.
Is there a better film camera out there now?
The camera should be a Canon 35mm semi pro/pro.
Thank you for any tips and links to suppliers with specials/good prices.

Canon 550 + iD Mk2 problem29 Sep 2005 00:42 GMT1
I have a problem where a 550 on a 1D Mk2 fails to sync up properyl and
just pumps out full power when the pic is taken.
Has anybody had similar problems and if so, how did you resolve them?

Help for an amateur28 Sep 2005 05:34 GMT15
I'm by no means a newbie when it comes to photography, but when we're
talking anything but pointing and shooting the camera, I'm lost.
I've been shooting a lot of candids for friends whether it be at their
children's birthday parties, weddings, bridal showers, BBQ's....anyway, I'm ...
Need advice for reflex camera27 Sep 2005 23:41 GMT5
I would like to buy a reflex camera (new or second hand). I am mainly
developing B&W pictures.
I would like a camera that will last for long and that can be fully
manual. It is difficult to make a choice in the ocean of possibilities.
Mr Stormtrooper Goes To The Isle Of Wight27 Sep 2005 17:29 GMT8
Is this too childish to post here ?  Looking at other people's holiday
snaps can be so boring, but not if a childish Star Wars figure is in
most of the pictures.

I just got a Canon Rebel XT27 Sep 2005 12:58 GMT87
I just purchased a Canon Rebel XT. It's a pretty awesome camera!  However, I
was sad to learn that I will NOT able to use the LCD screen to view the
images I am about to shoot.  I was almost going to bring it back for that
reason. However, after reading so many incredible reviews on ...
