I've gotten the Sony DSC-W1.  I'm learning a lot about this fascinating
hobby.  I was looking at the adaptor so I can get a fisheye lens or
telephoto.  I am NOT good at this time but I have taken several shots
with some okay results.  I love the one in the

Need advice about macro lenses12 Aug 2005 14:41 GMT14
I want to purchase a macro lens and I've narrowed my selection down to
two lenses, both Nikon.  One is a 60mm and the other a 105mm.  I'm an
amateur and have no experience with macro lenses but I can think of one
possible advantage that the 105mm has over the 60mm.

Could anyone please suggest a decent *light weight* Ball Head which
would be able to turn around smoothly with a 10D and a 3Kg lens attached
to it.
The head should have levels and that's where it gets tricky.

I'm looking for articles dealing with flash photography, and more
particularly with the visual effects provided by the use of different flash
sync modes (front/rear curtain sync, slow sync...) and with the selection of
a proper aperture/shutter speed when using a flash.

Nikon D70 with Leica SF-24D Flash no problem?10 Aug 2005 21:46 GMT2
Recently I bought a Nikon D70 and discovered the fascinating world of

this flash on the D70 as well, but after reading the manual I ...

Inkjet prints, preserving.10 Aug 2005 17:52 GMT15
I'd like to be able to make my inkjet prints waterproof.
Not like in the bathtub, but rather, to the touch or drop of water.
I've used a clearcoat spray made for topcoating certain paint
