Some time ago I asked the group for advice on indoor film for
shooting at a conference event. I finally picked a professional
Fuji 400 (on sale), made pictures and scanned the prints on a
low end flatbed. The results can be found here :

I had a friend recently have his digital camera totally die.  Nothing would
work.
When he removed the SD card the camera worked perfectly and a new SD card
worked properly with the camera.

Has anyone got any ideas on what a good motion picture consists of.
