is it FILM, or what !? (please explain the technolgy)05 Jul 2005 20:34 GMT15
The classical darkroom processing involves porting the image from the film
onto the photo paper via an enlarger. How does this thing happen in the
modern photo labs, which use all sort of automatic machines?
Recently, I wanted some enlargements from a medium 6x6 film and the
Digital vs Film - Price war?05 Jul 2005 20:17 GMT28
I am a student of photography. I'm learning film but I have heard it
said many times that digital is and will be taking over. I also have

Mark Lauter: I'm not into big birds myself, but this is a superb
example. Composition would have been better had the bird faced right,
into the frame, but you can't get decent help these days from
feathered friends. But I'm being picky, it's a great shot.
image size vs quality05 Jul 2005 15:26 GMT1
I sometimes need to produce A3 prints from my Minolta 7D digital photos.
Now I know the answer is image size at "L" 3008x2000 and Quality at Extra

on the cards and more importantly slows my shooting rate ...

suns rays make cross04 Jul 2005 08:40 GMT5
Hi, I saw a picture with an American flag and the suns rays creating a
cross image over the flag. How can I create the same effect with the
flag waving over my house? I hope  to have it done for a July 4 message
to my friends. Thanks much,

D70 shutter timer03 Jul 2005 03:17 GMT2
Hi,
does the D70 camera have a feature on it to delay the timing of the
shutter for a few seconds after it's released?  I haven't found one in
the menus or in the manual, but I wanted to make sure.
Rule of thumb for number of pictures on memory card?03 Jul 2005 00:03 GMT11
Can some one here please advise me.
I am referring of cameras in the 4 to 5 Megapixel category which

What do you all feel are some of the most under rated 35 MM film cameras?
And, some of the over rated.
