| Wall-mount or portable digital photo album | 21 May 2005 16:38 GMT | 2 |
My mom's 80th birthday is this summer. She loves photos of the kids and grandkids. We were thinking that she might like some sort of digital "album" that she could either put on the coffee table or hang on the wall that would hold a collection of photos and display them as

A good friend of mine is a professional photographer and just last month went out and bought three new Nikon D2X bodies, and is retiring his old fleet of Nikon D100's. He's offering me a D100 body, with the vertical grip/battery attachment for around $725 (going to try to get him ...

| Slides vs. Digital | 21 May 2005 02:01 GMT | 8 |
Recently I had a chance to look at some of my dad's pictures taken with his new Canon Digital Rebel, and while the pictures are very sharp, I still think that if I was to take the same pictures with say, Velvia ISO 50 slide film, that my pictures would be more "artistically"

| Black and White Slides? | 20 May 2005 11:41 GMT | 7 |
Hi all. Just another quick question: Is there such a thing as a slow (preferably ISO 50) black and white transparency film? If so, could you post a link so that I could read up about it and maybe order some? Any feedback on this would be great! Thanks!

| A couple of day shots and some more night shots | 19 May 2005 23:29 GMT | 13 |
On the flag shots, I did some bracketing - mainly overexposing the shots slightly. I also used spot metering, cuing in on the flag. I was shooting with my back to the sun - I'm still pretty disappointed with the results, and part of this may be the Epson Perfection 2580
