We are constantly being told how digital is superior to film. Could anyone

Flash Help Post - Results23 May 2005 14:08 GMT9
I got the film back today from my first ever event shoot that involved my
Vivatar flash.  The results were quite good and the lighting really doesn't
seem as bad as I thought it might.  I also had a roll taken from another
event where I was just taking some snaps with the on-camera ...

Recently, a friend told me about a 'backfocus' issue he's got

check my own D70.  After googling for the info and doing some test shots,
I've found that I do, in fact, have the same issue with ...

Auto exposure lock23 May 2005 07:07 GMT1
When and why use it?  I read the piece on it in the N80 manual, but it
only says what it does - if you want to control the exposure in a
specific area of the scene.  But doesn't focusing manually in
spot/center weighted metering do just that?  And why would you set it

I have an Epson scanner and also a Primefilm Scanner for slides.  I
