Because my HP deskjet w/HP cartridges prints beautiful pics, but unless I keep them enclosed in an album, they fade in just a year or less - bloody annoying. Sometimes I want to put one in a frame and hang the thing on a wall.

In recent years, I've noticed my prints aren't "sharp" anymore from consumer or trade labs; roughly since processing has shifted to digital processing gear. (The effect looks like their print projector is slightly out of focus.) Has anyone else noticed this?
