I am getting an offer to trade my Nikon 8700 for a D100.
What I dislike in 8700 - is its slow speed, i.e. time it takes between
pictures before you can shoot again.

I understand the value of a fast lens in that more light is let in when the
lens is wide open.  However, is this the same when the lens is stopped down?
i.e. if I have a 200mm f2.8 and a 200mm f4 and shoot a scene with both
lenses at f5.6 do I get the same result or will the shutter ...

When i installed Photoshop7, ImageReady7 was also installed.Both
softwares look similar to me. I would like to know their respective
purposes.

Hello, I have an old Minolta Maxxum 7000 with Quantaray lenses.  I want to
buy a new Minolta Maxxum 50 Camera Body only and would like to know if the
