Why I Love Film31 Mar 2005 06:15 GMT21

my own experiences from Saturday.
I loaded my equipment in the car, met the aspiring model downtown, and spent
about two hours shooting pictures at the local amusement park and beach. Of

Please try my Photo Equalizer30 Mar 2005 01:38 GMT9
After purchasing my second digital camera i found myself again disappointed with the results, pictures i have taken with
a 1/5 price conventional camera seemed less vivid and sharp than my expensive new digital camera.
Out of pure frustration i sat down to analyze the problem and ...
[Q] DIY flash external battery pack?30 Mar 2005 00:33 GMT21
I have been toying with the idea of building an external flash battery
pack. However, I don't wish to deal with high voltages, and my idea is
mainly to eliminate swapping AA cells when you need to fire off that
essential shot the most.

Sour grapes? I hear this crap all the time.

Natl Geographic on the digital revolution29 Mar 2005 04:38 GMT170
Disclaimer:  this post is entirely geared to the professionals in the
newsgroup.  Though I'm sure there are a few people, ahem, who are
going to read this as more "attacks against film in favor of digital",
it is NOT intended to be that at all.  It is merely commentary on the
Buying outside of UK28 Mar 2005 17:09 GMT8
Can anyone recommend a good place to buy a decent Canon EOS 20D or Rebel XT,
outside of the UK.
The UK prices are ridiculous compared to prices quoted in US etc...
Has anyone in UK bought from overseas??
Canon Digital Rebel XT28 Mar 2005 16:09 GMT6
I just want to hear some feedback on this camera.
