I have inherited hundreds of old family photographs, some dating back to 1870. Many of the most important prints have been invaded by mild to moderate mildew. This is mostly on the old prints mounted on cardboard with the studio's logo on the back.

Any experience with this film? Does it kill a normal picture with overblown color? Can I use it for most things if I just tend to like bold colors? Should I use it sparingly only where the color is generally bland?

Canon THM files had a corrupt CF Card.. Lexar made a utility that allowed me to get the files off the card, but they're all in RAW format with the extention THM. Anyone know of a good utility to convert the THM to JPG/GIF/BMP/TIF?

Anyone has any personal experiences to share using teleconverters? I'm looking to augment my 70-200mm VR Nikon lens with one - I'm particularly concerned about distortions, and the falloff in the aperture by 2 f-stops.
