Nikon CP5700 owners?28 Jan 2005 23:33 GMT16
I need help with an issue regarding autofocus.  I have set it on 'centre
weighted' and it does improve it a little, however, low light focusing
remains horrible.  Has anyone ever thought of using a laser pointer with it?
I hear some Sony cameras use a laser for an AF assist lamp.
Minolta VF vs.Sekonic 358-opinions?28 Jan 2005 23:19 GMT1
I'm contemplating purchasing a meter, but am more confused than ever by

Found two 18 year-old. undeveloped rolls of film. And now?28 Jan 2005 16:59 GMT10
While trying to put some order to the mess in an old closet, I came
across a pair of old undeveloped 110mm rolls of film. At first I
didn't recon them, but now I'm almost sure I know what films those are
and, IIRC the date and place when I took the pics (and I remember

Nikon SB-26 speed light27 Jan 2005 09:24 GMT1
I just got my SB-26 from ebay.  Does anyone know where I can download a
manual in pdf format for the SB-26?  Also I noticed the external battery
plug has 3 pins.  Does anyone know what the 3rd pin is for?  It is
shorter than the other 2.  I wanted to make my own external battery ...

I'd like to ask a question about the 400AW and 300AW from Lowepro. I
checked the two bags out yesterday and I can't quite decide which one

Upgrade questions27 Jan 2005 04:26 GMT4
I want to add a telephoto lens to my equipment, but worry about making
that additional investment using the 'wrong' camera.
I have a Canon G2, and feel that buying such a lens for that camera
