I have a Canon EOS 100 (Elan) that has been stored away for about 4 years,

Nikon D70 -  My built in Flash pops up but does not Flash ?

I'm planning a Photographic winter getaway trip for
just for photographers. The trip is based out of
beautiful Jackson, Wyoming and the Grand Teton
National Park areas. Every time I go on one of these

I would appreciate opinions on flash units for my Nikon D70.  I am looking
at both Nikon and Metz.
The salesman recommends the Metz, but I am not familiar with their brand.
The specific models I am looking at are the Metz Mecablitz 54 AF-1 Digital

I just bought an used 70-200 f2.8 Canon lense and a 2x tele converter. The
store where I bought it from did not have the tripod mount. I was led to

I "need" the new Canon 20D.  While I'm chipping away at the obstacles I'm

bought a Samsung Digimax 300 and had no trouble downloading my pictures
with Windows XP.  I used the software provided and as soon as I connected
the camera to my PC I saw all my pictures.

The little pop up flash being what it is on the 300D I will buy a real
flash in the next few days. But the Canon ones are pricy. I think it is
probably possible to save some money by buying a 3rd party flash but
which one? Does anyone have any experience of these?
